Description
This is a pair of headstones from the late 18th century, located about 3 meters south of the tower of the Church of St Andrew in Coryton. The headstones are made of slate and feature nowy heads with canted corners. One headstone commemorates John Hobbs, who died in 1786, and includes a lily carved in relief within an ornamental border, with an inscription below. The other headstone honors Prudence Kennard, who died in 1784, and features a winged head carved in relief above the inscription.
