Description

The quay at Morwellham, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century, is constructed of pitched rubble with granite copings. It forms a U-shaped basin that is approximately 15 metres long and 5 metres wide, with walls rising about 3 metres high. A central round-arched opening is located at the base of the rear wall, which serves as the tailrace for the water mill situated to the northwest.
