Description

The kiln and retaining wall to the charging ramp, located in Morwellham, date from the early 19th century. The structure is built of rubble and features a round-fronted kiln with a charging ramp on the right side. There is a round-arched drawing-hole at the front and a side opening for draught. The walls of the ramp are approximately 4 metres high and about 6 metres long.
