Description
These are gate piers and a gate located approximately 90 metres east-south-east of the Church of St. Mary. The gate piers date from the 17th century and feature finials that have been re-set on likely later piers. The piers are made of granite and are square in shape, topped with finials that have slightly tapering necks, which are moulded at the top and end in crudely shaped balls. The gate itself is from the late 19th century and is made of decorative wrought iron, featuring round arch bracing and stiles that are scrolled over the top rail.
