Description

This is a barn dating from the 18th century, located approximately 40 metres south of Paize Farmhouse. The barn features cob walls and a hipped thatch roof, with a rectangular plan that includes a central threshing floor. It is a single storey building with a regular front, which has a cart entrance slightly to the right of the centre and projecting cheeks. There is an opposing doorway on the rear wall. Inside, the barn has a 19th-century pegged A-frame roof.
