Description
Nos. 5 and 7 Victoria Road are a pair of cottages dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. They feature rendered cob and rubble walls and have a hipped thatch roof with a central brick axial stack. The cottages are designed as mirror images of each other, each with a two-room layout. The larger room in each cottage is heated by the central stack, while a small unheated service room is located at the outside. The exterior is two storeys high with an asymmetrical four-window front, consisting of two windows for each cottage. The windows are 20th-century two and three-light casements, with a single light window on the left side of the ground floor. There is a 20th-century glazed door at the centre of No. 7 and another door to the left of centre for No. 5. The interior was inaccessible at the time of the survey.
