Milestone located at SX 438 748, dating from the early 19th century. It is made of granite and is a square block featuring lettering on three faces: "TAVISTOCK 3", "MILTON ABBOT 4½ MILES", and "TO THE QUAYS 3 MILES". Above the lettering for Milton Abbot, there is a carved fist with a pointed index finger.
