Description

Higher Lumburn Bridge is a small three-span bridge, likely built in the 18th century. It is constructed from uncoursed granite with granite dressings. The bridge features rounded arches with long voussoirs and has two cutwaters on the north side. The flood channels are designed as oculi in the spandrels of the central arch. The parapet has been rebuilt and is topped with an iron railing.
