LAMERTON SX 47 NE 3/25 - 4 pairs of gate-piers about 8m and 15m south west of Higher Chaddlehanger GV II

4 pairs of gate-piers. Late C18/early C19. Granite. Pair of piers about 1½ metres high, square plan with shaped neck and ball finials, missing to left; similar pair about 15 metres south west, also with 1 ball finial missing and lower pair of piers adjacent to east with rounded tops, also 1 ball finial missing; fourth pair about 45 metres to east, about 1½ metres high, square plan in rough-cut granite, with ball finials.
