Description

Venner Headstone, located about 2 meters north of the Church of St James, is a late 18th-century headstone made of slate. It features a square shape with canted corners and commemorates Thomas Venner, who died in 1790, and Ann Venner, who died in 1794. The headstone has a scratch-moulded border and includes a verse below an earlier inscription, with a second inscription added beneath a bead and reel moulding.
