Description
Change in Time is a house, formerly an inn, dating back to the 17th century. It is located on Tower Hill in Buckland Brewer. The exterior is colourwashed render over stone rubble, likely with some cob construction, and has a gabled slate roof. A stone stack, finished with mid-19th century brick, stands at the right end. The original two-unit plan was extended in the mid-19th century to form an L-shape, including a rear left wing. The building has two storeys and a three-window front. The ground floor windows are C20 and have flat rendered arches, with a C20 door to the right. The first floor windows are C19 two- or three-light casements. The interior has not been inspected, but is likely to be of interest.
