Jennett's Bridge

GV II

Drive bridge. Circa early C19. Local stone rubble. Single-span elliptical skew arch. Plain stone rubble parapets with cement capping. This bridge carried a drive to Moreton over a country lane. Moreton is a large country house [converted to a school] and was the seat of the Stuckley family. The bridge is situated adjacent to Jennett's Cottage, a cottage orne drive lodge to Moreton. A good example of an early C19 country house drive bridge.
