Description

The Drive Bridge over the farm track at Culachy House is a single span bridge built in the later 19th century. It features a rustic design made from random rubble. The bridge includes a low secondary pedestrian arch with roughly dressed rubble segmental arch rings. The rustic parapet is constructed from lengths of stone, supported at regular intervals by roughly hewn balusters and secured with a single boulder. The overall span of the bridge is approximately 30 feet.
