Description
The Rustic Bridge at Arniston House, built in the early 19th century, is a double span bridge that crosses the River South Esk. It features a droved ashlar arch ring with a moulded extrados and broached spandrels. The bridge has a convex banded central pier, along with abutments and splayed wing walls that are flanked by V jointed rusticated pilasters and terminal piers. The coursed broached parapet has ashlar coping, although some sections are missing.
