Description

Howsham Bridge is a bridge built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of rusticated sandstone ashlar and features three segmental arches with rusticated voussoirs, which are separated by tapering semi-cylindrical buttresses. The bridge has a band and a three-course rock-faced parapet with coping. There are drums at each end of the structure.
