Description

The Mill House is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of brick in Flemish bond and has a pantile roof. The building features a three-cell hearth-passage plan with an outshut under a catslide roof at the rear. It stands two storeys high and has four first-floor windows. The entrance includes a four-fielded-panel door with a divided overlight above it. Throughout the house, there are 16-pane horned sash windows set beneath flat brick arches. A first-floor band runs around the building, and it has gable coping, tumbled eaves, and stacks at the left end and ridge.
