Description
Nos 1, 2, and 3 Main Street are a row of three cottages built in the late 17th century, with significant alterations and additions made in the 20th century. The cottages are constructed from hammer-dressed sandstone and feature a concrete pantile roof. They are two storeys high and have six first-floor windows. The buildings have massive quoins and direct-entry half-glazed doors, with metal casements in altered window openings throughout. The roof is steeply pitched and includes ridge stacks. Inside, the cottages have a simple trenched purlin tie-beam roof.
