Description
The Little House is a pair of cottages dating from the mid-18th century, located on the east side of Howsham Main Street. The construction utilizes hammer-dressed sandstone with brick gable ends and a pantile roof. The cottages are arranged centrally with a shared entry for two cottages. They are two storeys high, with three first-floor windows. Quoins are visible. A four-panel door is on the left side, while a board door is on the right, both flanked by metal casement windows set beneath flat stone arches. First-floor windows are casements. The roof has sprocketed eaves, and there are stacks at the left end and along the ridge.
