Description

5 Lovat Terrace in Fort Augustus is a later 19th-century, east-facing terrace consisting of ten single-storey and attic cottages, each with three bays. The cottages are all harled with tooled ashlar margins. Each house features a central door flanked by a two-light casement window, with each casement having round-headed two-light glazing. There are similar round-headed lights in the double-leaf panelled doors and in the single casement gablet dormers located in the outer bays of each cottage. The terrace has end and ridge coped stacks, and the roof is a mansard slate design with a tiled ridge.
