Description
The Liberal Club is a mid-19th century building that was originally a house and is now used as a club and offices. It features a solid rendered front and a slated roof, with a red-brick chimney located on the left side wall. The building has three storeys and a three-window range, with a doorway that is off-centre to the left. The front is accented by raised cement quoins that frame the entire façade, as well as the door and window openings, which are adorned with cement voussoirs and keystones. The entrance consists of a four-panelled door, and there is a canted wooden bay window with a moulded top cornice positioned to the left of the ground and second storeys. The windows are sashes throughout, with the outer windows on the right and the third storey on the left featuring triple-sashed designs. All sashes include margin-panes, except for the flanking lights in the bay and in the triple-sashes. The building is topped with a deep, plain, boxed eaves cornice. The interior has not been inspected.
