Description

76 High Street is a cottage located in a back alley in Clovelly. It likely dates from the late 18th century, with repairs made in the early 20th century. The exterior is rendered and colourwashed, featuring a hipped slate roof and a brick stack.

The building has an irregular plan, with the main range running north to south and two east-west wings at the rear. It stands two storeys high and has an asymmetrical three-bay façade. The windows are predominantly two-light casements with glazing bars, including two two-light casements with leaded lights on the first floor. There is a door opening in a slated lean-to on the left, which features a half-glazed early 20th-century door. The interior has not been inspected.
