Description

This is a barn and former coach house located approximately 15 meters north of Halsdon House, dating from the late 18th century. The structure features cob and stone rubble walls and a hipped thatch roof. It has a long rectangular plan with a separate coach house at the left-hand end. The exterior is single storey with an asymmetrical front, which includes a wide carriage entrance on the left and a narrow doorway on the right. Inside, the building may still have its original pegged A-frame roof trusses.
