Description

George's Cottage is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century. It features a colourwashed exterior made of coursed slatestone rubble and has a gabled thatch roof, with mid-19th century brick stacks at each end. The cottage has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high, with a two-window range. The central entrance is a late 19th century plank door, flanked by mid-19th century two-light horizontal sliding sash windows that have glazing bars and are set in beaded architraves. The interior has not been inspected.
