Description

Rose Cottage is a late 18th or early 19th century house in Parkham, Bucks Mills. The walls are colourwashed render over coursed slatestone rubble, with a gabled roof covered in 20th-century concrete tiles. A 20th-century brick stack is located at the right end. The house has a 2-unit plan and a 2-window front. It features timber lintels over a central 20th-century door and two 2-light casement windows. The interior has not been inspected. The roof was thatched in 1958. The building is included on the list for group value.
