Description

Four Corner Cottage is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled stone slate roof with a brick end stack. The building has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high, with a one-window range. The central door is a 20th-century addition, while the windows are 19th-century two-light casements with glazing bars, all set beneath timber lintels. Inside, the cottage has plain beams and an open fireplace with a chamfered bressumer to the right.
