Description

The garden walls at Greenhill, dating from the early 19th century, are constructed of stuccoed stone rubble and were originally blocked out. These tall garden walls feature two doorways. The section next to Greenhill on the right end has a pediment above the doorway, which is flanked by pilasters with pyramidal caps. There is a taller pediment above an adjoining stretch of wall that returns at the right end, where a prominent pedimented doorway with rusticated pilasters and a large open pediment rises above the height of the wall. These walls were designed as a screen to the right of Greenhill.
