Description

This cottage, likely originating from the 17th or 18th century, is located adjoining Bay Bush at the northwest in Kennford. It was completely gutted in 1987. The structure is built of cob on stone rubble footings, with a whitewashed and rendered exterior and a thatched roof that is gabled at both ends. It features projecting front lateral stacks on the left and right; the left-hand stack has a brick shaft, while the right-hand stack's shaft has been dismantled.

The cottage is two storeys high with an asymmetrical front that has three windows and the projecting stacks. The front door is positioned to the right of center, with a three-light 19th-century small-pane casement window to the left of the door. There are three small 20th-century timber windows on the first floor. The interior has been modernized. This cottage is included for its front elevation in a group with Bay Bush to the left and the Old School opposite.
