Description

This is an early 19th-century building, altered subsequently, located on Fore Street. It is a three-story, three-window structure with a stucco facade. The facade features pilasters and a pediment. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. A canopied balcony is present on the first floor, supported by cast iron shafts. A stone ground floor projection includes segmental arched openings. It is suggested that the building may have served as a public building at one time. The building contributes to a group value with numbers 54 to 59 on the same street.
