Description
Westhill House is an early 19th-century building located on West Street. It is two storeys high and features three windows. The exterior is stuccoed, with panelled pilasters on either side of the front and between the windows. The first floor has engaged Ionic columns flanking the centre window, which support a dentilled cornice. The ground floor section of the centre pilasters has niches that once held statues, but these are now empty. There is an enriched stringcourse between the pilasters and an eaves cornice above. The centre first floor window is adorned with an iron balcony. The ground floor includes a verandah supported by trellised iron. The glazing bars are intact, and there is a porch on the east front with a doorway that has a rectangular fanlight and a door featuring three moulded and fielded panels. A modern bay has been added on the first floor.
