No. 13 Brownston Street is an early 18th-century house in a row, with alterations in the 19th century. The building is rendered with visible rubble, and has a slate roof. It has two storeys and three windows. The ground floor features good 12-pane sashes, while the first floor has three 2-light horizontal bar casements. An off-centre left entrance has a 4-panel door with a 2-pane overlight, sheltered by a cantilevered canopy and accessed via four stone steps with nosings. A brick stack is located at the rear, to the right. The property is included in the listing for its group value.
