Description
30 High Street is a building from the late 18th century that stands three storeys tall. The first floor features four windows arranged in pairs. It has a Welsh slate roof and a timber-framed front that is plastered, with rusticated pilaster strips on the corners that conceal the masonry party walls. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, with two on the second floor and four on the first floor. The shopfront has been altered and includes pilasters that support an entablature with a projecting bracketed cornice, leading to a modern restaurant front. The house doorway has panelled reveals and boarded doors, which are adorned with moulded cover strips and wrought iron pegs. Inside, there is an open well staircase with a closed string, turned balusters, and a moulded handrail.
