Description

No 19 on High Street is a building that was formerly part of No 17 and was rebuilt in the early 19th century. It stands three storeys high and features two windows. The roof is hipped and covered with Welsh slate, and it has a dentil eaves cornice. The front of the building is slate-hung and timber-framed, with a string course at the first floor level. The windows are architraved sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor is faced with brick and has recessed segmental-arched sash windows. A notable feature is the wooden doorcase, which includes panelled pilasters supporting an entablature with a dentil cornice. The doorway is square-headed, with a rectangular fanlight above and a raised and fielded panel door.
