Description
The house at the rear of No 19 High Street is an early 19th-century building that was originally part of a terrace of three double-fronted houses. It is now divided into multiple living units and stands three storeys tall. The facade features a window arrangement of two, two, and four panes. The roof is made of Welsh slate, while the walls are constructed from random rubble of Devonian limestone with brick dressings. The windows have gauged flat brick arches and are recessed sash windows with glazing bars. The doorways are round-arched and include radial fanlights and panelled doors. The northernmost house, No 8, has a segmental arched doorway with a radial fanlight and a modern door.
