Description
This is a 19th-century boathouse located at the mouth of the River Avon. It features stone rubble walls with weatherboarding on the front at the first floor and a thatched roof that is hipped at the front and gabled at the rear. There is a brick stack at the gable end. The building has a rectangular plan, with the ground floor serving as the boathouse and a room above that includes a fireplace. The exterior is two storeys high, and the front, which faces directly onto the river, has the first floor canted out over the ground floor. It is equipped with three narrow windows and wide double doors below.
