Description
This is a chest tomb located about 6 metres south-southwest of the porch of the Church of St Michael in Blackawton. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of dressed slate. The tomb features a cornice and a slate lid, which bears an inscription in memory of Thomas Cholwich, who died in 1820.
