Description
This is a chest tomb located about 7 meters south-southwest of the tower of the Church of St Michael in Blackawton. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of dressed slate. The tomb features a moulded cornice and a slate lid. An inscription on the lid commemorates Mary, the daughter of William and Frances Bennett, who passed away in 1829.
