Description

Robins Cottage is a cottage attached to Robins Farm, likely built in the 18th century. The building has a rendered front and back, with a rubble gable wall and a stepped central ridge stack made of brick. It probably follows a baffle-entry plan, although the central door is now blocked, and the entrance is located to the right. The cottage is two storeys high and features two windows, all of which are 2-light glazing bar wood casements, with slight eyebrows over the first-floor windows. The right side has a 20th-century lean-to porch covering a 20th-century door, with rubble cheeks on the porch. The left end of the cottage is half-hipped and has an attached wing that is not of special interest. At the back, there is a single 2-light casement without bars. The interior has not been inspected, and it is possible that the cottage was once two small cottages.
