Description
The building is a donkey stable dating from the 19th century, located opposite Robins Farm in Kingston Village Centre. It is constructed of rubble with a slate roof and has a small rectangular shape, positioned gable to the road and partially set into the slope. On the left side, there is an entrance opening with a quadrant of wall made from cut squared block, leading to an opening in the corner of the stable. Inside, the stable retains its hayloft floor, which is supported by an iron grid. This stable is believed to have been used for donkeys that transported goods from the coast, which is approximately 2.5 kilometers away and about 100 meters lower in elevation. The building is well-preserved and serves as an interesting reminder of the village's history.
