Description
Pool Mill Lodge is a lodge located on the Revelstoke estate, dated 1879 and likely designed by the office of George Devey. The building is constructed of slate rubble and features a Welsh slate roof with gabled and half-hipped ends, along with overhanging eaves. It has a T-shaped plan and stands two storeys tall. A scantle slate pentice hood on brackets is positioned at the first-floor level over the first-floor window in the gable. The windows are casements with leaded panes and volute brick arches, while the ground floor includes a square bay window. There is a half-hipped dormer and a wooden porch situated in the angle, topped with a slate hipped roof. A large white brick chimney stack is located at the center of the building.
