Description
Quay Cottage and the adjoining cottage to the southwest are a range of two cottages dating from the early 18th century, with an extension added in the early 19th century. They are constructed from colourwashed stone rubble and feature a wood shingle half-hipped roof with eyebrow eaves. The cottages are two storeys tall and have a long façade with six windows. The windows are a mix of 19th and 20th-century two and three-light casements that include glazing bars. The doors are made of planks, with one door having a slated hood. Quay Cottage has an outshut on the right side of the road front, and there are stone rubble chimney stacks located at the ridge and the end of the cottages.
