Description
Holmeleigh Cottage is a cottage dating to around the 17th century. It is built of roughcast stone rubble with a slate roof featuring gabled ends. The cottage has two storeys and originally had a four to five window front. It now has 19th and 20th century casement windows with glazing bars. A 20th century door is located on the left side, and a 19th century plank door is on the right. There are two rendered external chimney stacks on the front, and an additional stack on the east gable end. A lean-to extension is attached to the west gable. The cottage is built into the raised churchyard at the rear, causing the rear windows to be level with the ground.
