Description
This pair of gravestones, dating from 1780, marks the head and foot of the Mill family grave located approximately 2 metres southwest of the south porch of the Church of St Thomas of Canterbury. The headstone features a shaped top with incised scrolling decoration, while the footstone has a similarly shaped head and bears a weathered verse. The headstone commemorates Elizabeth Mill, who died in 1780, and Robert Mill, who died in 1803, both children of Hugh and Elizabeth Mill.
