Description
Tennacott Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse that was refenestrated in the late 19th century. It is constructed of rendered stone and cob, topped with a corrugated asbestos roof. There is a brick stack at the right end and a lateral hall stack at the rear featuring a brick shaft with a moulded cap. The layout consists of a three-room cross-passage plan, with the inner room divided axially. The building is two storeys high and has a four-window range, with all windows being two-light casements; the ground floor windows have three panes per light, while the upper floor has two panes per light. The cross-passage doorway features a plank door with a corrugated asbestos pentice roof. At the left end, there is a lean-to, and the interior joinery from the 19th century is mainly intact. The ceiling beams have been plastered over, and the roof structure has not been inspected.
