Description
This barn, located 2 metres north-east of Lower Churchill Farmhouse, likely dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of slate rubble with cob on the first floor and features a slate roof with gable ends. The right-hand gable has been rebuilt using concrete blocks.
On the north side, there are doorways on both the right and left, with a ventilation slit and a small window positioned between them. The right-hand doorway includes a loft door above within the same opening. The south side features an attached ground floor door and four bee-boles made of cob. Each bee-bole consists of a niche lined with plaster, featuring round heads and projecting semi-circular slate sills.
