Description
Numbers 4 and 5 are a pair of terraced houses located on raised ground at the end of a cul-de-sac in Ilfracombe. They were built in the early 19th century and are constructed of stucco with slate roofs. The houses are three storeys tall and have basements, with two windows each. The central entrances are paired and feature Doric porches that support attractive cast-iron balconies at the first-floor level. The doors are five-panel with overlights. Number 4 has hornless sash windows, with twelve panes at the ground floor, fifteen panes at the first floor, and nine panes at the second floor. Number 5 has 20th-century UPVC glazing. The interior has not been inspected. Additionally, there are attached cast-iron railings to the areas in front of the houses.
