Description

This is a cart linhay with a loft over, dating from the mid-19th century, located approximately 20 metres north-west of Hammonds Farmhouse. The structure is built from rubblestone and features gable-ended slate roofs. It has a rectangular plan and is two storeys high, built into a bank. There are two openings with slatted grilles and cambered stone arches above, along with four cart entrances that have segmental stone arches and slightly bowed jambs resembling horseshoe arches. External stone steps at the left end lead to a doorway with a slightly cambered stone arch and a plank door.
