Description
The coach-house, located approximately 5 metres south of Tawstock Court, is a building from the early 19th century that has been converted into a private dwelling. It features rendered stone rubble construction and a hipped slate roof, with a rectangular plan and two storeys. The façade has a three-bay arrangement, with a plat-band and quoin pilasters. The central three bays project slightly and include a pediment with a blind roundel in the tympanum. There is a decorative rainwater head at the left end. The building has nine window openings, with 20th-century fenestration in the upper storey. The second opening from the left is blind, and there is a clock face in the centre of another blind opening. The centre has two large segmental arched doorways flanking a lunette, with the right-hand doorway featuring double plank doors. Each of the three end bays has large segmental arched window openings with sashes that include glazing bars, alongside plank doors.
