Description

This is a house located to the rear of Fremington Mill, likely built in the late 17th century, with alterations and new windows added in the 20th century. The structure is made of rendered stone and cob, topped with a thatched roof featuring gable ends. There are brick chimney stacks made of rubble at both ends and one on the ridge. The house has a three-room layout, with the lower end probably converted from a former outbuilding. It stands two storeys high and has a three-window range with 20th-century windows. The front of the house features two buttresses, and there are slated roofs on the two-storey outshut at the rear of the lower end.
