Description
This limekiln, located approximately 600 metres southwest of Bridwick Farmhouse, dates from the 19th century. It is constructed from unrendered stone rubble and features a brick-lined well. The structure is nearly square in shape and built into a bank. It has a single semi-circular arched opening at the front. Notably, the brick-lined well, iron raking grille, and iron stoking door are all well-preserved, making this a remarkably complete example of its kind.
