Description
The war memorial in Kentisbury was built after 1918 and is made of light grey granite. It features a tapering square plinth that rises to a square shaft, which is topped by a wheel-headed cross. The memorial is enclosed by a wall that includes metal posts with two simple chains.
On the north face of the plinth, there is a granite plaque that reads: "In memory of/(5 names)/ who fell in the Great War 1914 -1919 / the glorious dead." The memorial is situated within a memorial garden that has wrought iron gates.
